AI-generated videos are already being used on X to stoke division and get people angry, I see it pretty often on my timeline
then there’s a bunch of what I imagine are mostly bots commenting under them, guiding the viewer to have certain opinions about it
soon it’s going to become impossible to tell what’s authentic, and what is AI propaganda, even for the most perceptive of us
what kind of solution is there to combat this?
if you pass legislation to mandate AI videos include some kind of identifier, the governments and their intelligence agencies aren’t going to obey those laws
those are some of the people who are most dangerous with technology in their hands
does anyone have a solution? or are we just doomed to a dystopian future?
